order of operation for used converter install

I'm putting in a stall vert and a trans cooler, i know i want to get the tranny flushed, but should i do it right before or right after tc install, should i worry about getting the convertor flushed before(the fluid left in it is very clean, for what that's worth) if i'm gonna have the whole thing flushed after, and any additional advice you may have to throw my way.......thanks in advance
josh

i would not flush the tranny. change the filter and fluid. DO FLUSH THE TC THO. when you doo a full flush u might be breaking away some dirt and grime that has built up that can hurt if its not there.

what i'm doing is changing the fluid and filter, as well cleaning the tc with mineral spirits. i've got it soaking over night tonight, then i'm gonna drain it for 24 hours, then fill it with atf and let it set till i get to it next week......a guy at a shop recommended it to me as opposed to a complete flush, and i don't fell like sending the converter out for a check-up/flush, in which case i may have well bought a new one.....if it all blows up, shit happens :smt023
