:smt067 NOS

Go Go Juice. Let me think on this one, oh wait, yeah fast and the furious movies ruined nitrous for me or as idiotic movie producers would say NOS and thats no abbreviation boys say it how it looks.

the Nitrous Oxide Systems (By Holley) must have made a friggin fortune, how many 16 year old punks do you think went home and punched in "NOS" online only to get product pages for bottles with 100+ HP boosts. I also wonder how many valves were cooked in the process and how many rods were shot through the blocks of 4 cylinder vehicles when these kids thought a 500 hp fogger kit would be cool in their Stock 1989 Honda CRX.

Oh and i was poking around when i read this page.
http://www.noswizard.com/
something wrong with the page? Tell me what you think of that first page alone.

Now this is not a hit at Nitrous at all. Introducing a fuel oxidizer into a system to give a hotter more powerful burn is a brilliant idea in theory but is only practical in applications where the engine is capable of not only handling the extra power but also the higher temperatures. If enthusiasts can make it work without causing damage to our precious engine blocks than sign me up.

I don't have any real expierience with Nitrous but there are so many safety devices available for the systems that it is almost Idiot proof. Of coarse if you over use it you will lose it. :smt018
A 75HP shot won't hurt anything and if used in every gear will drop ET's at least 1 second. (provided you get traction) :smt025

nawz can be good. but to run it right your lookin at 1000$ thats including bottle warmer, window switch, pressure guage, fuel shut-off....etc
nawz aint bad but its the safety features that comes along with it that make it a bit pricey.

Anyone with a street car that sets their nitrous system up to spray when a single switch is activated is an idiot. Too many of my customers have done it that way despite telling them they should..
DAMN that movie!

Now I'm all for "damnin' that movie" however for other reasons. :smt038 I'm not one to let stupidity of people be blamed on movies. (Goodness, Gracious, the next thing you know parents will be blamin "Ozzy" for thier kid committing suicide. Nothing wrong with the parents ohhhhhh...F*&k NO! Wait a sec..sorry I digress) I'm sure some of your customers (from the sounds of it) may be good candidates for the "Darwin Award".
For people who have been taught to use thier God-Given Common Sense,......we understand the diff between "Hollywood Stunts and Thrills" and the real everyday not so exiting hum-drum world. That btw would be pretty boring on the screen. Besides I have yet to hear of anyone trying to jump over a bridge in construction 'cause they saw it done on "Speed". I think age and PARENTAL GUIDANCE has something to do with it? jmo (Hey kids, shhhhhh gotta secret for ya'. Hollywood, it ain't real) :smt076 I shall climb down now
