Fbody Problem =(

I have an auto 99 v6 firebird. Last night I was driving it and it had no pick up what so ever, I have a cylinder 3 misfire but my car ws running fine. It took forever to shift from first to second(even when it was floored) I checked all my fluids and everything was cool. When I parked it at night it smelled like my cluctch went out. Before that my car stalled when I was driving it. Anyone know whats up?

That could be a number of things causing that. How long has it been since its had a tune up, new fuel and air filter?? Also check for vaccum leaks and check your timing.

You may also what to get it scanned for codes to see if any of the emissions compontents are at fault.

Well I dropped it off at GM this morning and they still havent looked at it. I have a unlimited mileage lifetime bumper to bumper warranty on the car so I figured Id bring it there cause they work on those cars all the time. Ohh and greasemonkey....your comment wasnt cool :smt071

OK, if you smelled clutch and the rpms went up and the car didn't accelerate normally, it might be the clutch. Not to be a jerk but who the heck sold yo ua unlimited bumper to bumper life time warranty? I know GM didn't. Also, GM, doesn't honor aftermarket warranty cllaims as I found out so what gives? Not to mention, GM doesn't fix cars, but authorized dealers do. Seriously, I am just wondering what you meant.
