Whats next?
The heads are from a 307 H.O. 9.5:1 comp (40hp diff. than regular heads) or a eldebrock performer intake manifold, and for who ever voted on my last poll, i got the flowtech headers :smt023

im gonna be honest with ya buildin a 307 is a real waste of cash, for what it would cost you to put heads on it, you could buy junk yard long block
Im pretty sure you need to stay with a bop (buick olds pontiac )engine unless your gonna swap the trannie. BUt a buick/olds/poniac 350 or 400 are much better platforms and should be able to be had fairly cheap since eveyone wants the 455s (even a 455 out of a tornaro would be sweet for u if you could unhook it from the trans mfn pita) but a long block shoud be able to be had for 200-250 I would think, then do a paw rebuild kit rings/bearings/seals and a cam 100-200 ya get a intake for 100 or so and your in bussiness

ok, im 16, i like old cars,im n the same boat as all these kids fixing up weak 4 bangers, except im fixing up a weak V8. i dont care about having 450 ponies under the hood yet, its jus a learning experience to were i can get my hands dirty and get some experience under my belt that way one day when im not makin minimum wage i can build a ss camino or a trans am the right way. Those heads are 300.00 fully assembled, that engine w/ those heads stock is even w/ a 80s monte ss that everyones fixin up. Isnt being unique good? no offense to any one but, everyone has a 350, or a 302 or a 400.The stuff thats done to my car was done by me or i helped and thats all that matters right? :smt090

Your absolutly right! It's your car, do what you want that makes you happy with that car! I agree with doing something different when it comes to cars, thats what makes the hobby fun :smt045 A good addition to your 307 would be adding in a lower gear set in the rear end. A nicely tuned Olds engine with around a 3.42 gear set would be a fun torquey daily driver :smt023

Well, i would say go for the heads. Because when you want an intake later youll be buying one best mated for the cylinder heads that youll be buying first.
