when i bled my new radiator i had two bleed screws that i used that were close to the TB, they were brass easy to find and open. not bad at all.

on any old school chevy v8 bleeding though the radiator will work just fine 99% of the time

You could just squeeze the radiator hose and itll bleed the air out. I did it when I swapped my 195 to a 160, you have to becareful though if your doing this swap on a newer car, the PCM will still think you have a stock thermo and itll cause the fans to run all the time.
