I need some LS1 Advice!

:smt017 I need some answers, how much horsepower can an ls1 produce some people are telling me that the lower cant even handle 700rwhp, is this true it cant be. And where can i find a twin turbo for my 2000 z28, and when i do find it does anybody know what the end cost will be if i have it instaled correctly, i mean after i upgrade the fuel pump the headers the intake and whatever else it takes to where i can run a twin kit without having to worry about my engine blowing the first time i hit the gas.

r u fukin kidding me here man. we gave you ideas in the last thread. if u cant make sense of that then buy a cobalt or sumthn thats easier for you to understand.

700rwhp, yah the block wont be able to handle it for too long.
you can find a twin turbo kit by running a search on GOOGLE. type Twin turbo kit LS1. look to have the entire setup to run you 1500+ for installation.the whole deal will bea about 15,000$ when its all said and done if u wanna do things right. good luck

Well.. the block is not the limiting factor.. its the connecting rods and pistons

Block is good for 1200+ hp

Con rods and pistons good for about 600hp

please stop posting crap like this...

it has nothing to do with either the POLL or the original topic

let me inform you on something... you dont need twin turbos to be fast! my buddy has a fully forged LS1 putting down over 800hp on a single T76... pull your head out of fast and the furious ... cut the bullshit... learn about your car... then come back and ask SEMI intelligent questions...

until then quit the trolling... i hate people like you

ps do you even know what motors are in my signature? and for extra credit what cars they were offered in? and double extra credit what years? :h :h :h

10k for car + work? or 10k for just work?

1969 is better camaro, in my book, considering it was actually produced and the 2009 is just a dream (for the moment.)

bloody hell, this is going bad.

Lets get this straight, your trolling for answers that are already on here and on many other automotive websites, its called reading. i dont like reposting the same crap over and over again for everyone person who comes on here. There are also tons of online internet sites that will help you. Go over to LS1Tech, read every single thread and then come back here and post questions.

Car movies dont teach you shit. They are for entertainment purposes only, so unlike you, the people responding to the questions in this thread have either had automotoive classes/certification, engineering classes/degrees, or have owned many a car and have tuned many a car. Movies have nothing to do with it except for NEWBS (which you are doing a thorough job of coming off as) who have nothing else to base their lack of experience off of.

I think if you are serious about dropping 10k you should contact some of our sponsors about having them build you a motor. They will have the equipment required to program the computers on your FI car.

And telling a veteran poster and our club VP to FUCK OFF is not the way to get any help around here. In fact keep this shit up and youll get a banhammer.

Now i encourage you to ask more reasonable questions, and please do not flood our site with polls that are unrelated to the content in thread. I would love to see a fast camaro whooping on some ricers, so any help you can get to turn down a supra is help much appreciated over on my end.

haha thanks for the kind words bro. Im only 20 but what does that mean? jack shit...

You want advise well we need answers then. You need to learn more by reading and doing RESEARCH on what route you want to go. Hell ill give your car 750 hp for $1000 with a nitrous kit... but your car is only going to last 10 seconds...or less...

You have no idea where you want to take you car and you have no ideas as how to do it.

YOU DO NOT NEED 750 HP TO BEAT A RICER. If you know how to drive your car then take two spark plugs out and you will still be fine.

Want me to teach you everything i know about cars and building them? well then there goes your $10g's

You cant become a millionare without working for it... just like you cant throw 10gs at your car and have a NASCAR... you have to work for it...

Here is the best idea yet. Go out, do some research on what you want to do. But meanwhile please put that money into a bank account and earn some interest. That way when you know what you want to do you will have even more money. I mean hell decide if you want a street ready drag car, a track only drag car, a road race car or what.... then decide if you want to do a NA, nitrous, turbo, or SC setup... or maybe a combo of two. Get the basics and come back with some answers. If you come on here asking what to do with 10g's dont expect a detailed answer as there are millions of different ways to do it

Richard Simmons sucking the cream out of a twinkie is less gay then this thread...

oh and have a nice fuckin day you fuckin newbie... :smt023
