NEED HELP ....PLEASE??? WHAT DR TIMING SET TO RUN...

Hey guys i need some info. Im looking to replace my timing chain on my Z, but im trying to find the best one for the best price. My 93'has 215,000 miles on it , and i have quite a bit of play , so i want to go ahead and replace it. I want to go with a DR timing set. I already have a Mazere electric water pump on my car , but i need to know if i need the timing cover clearenced for a DR. I have heared from others and my frend who have swaped in a DR that they had to clearence thiers, but they also have 95-97 cars. Would the same need to be done to the93-94 cars? If so ,does anyone know what part needs to be ground down? Is there a DR timing set that doesnt require me to have to do any grinding.( I would prefer that.) But i'll do what i have to. I know im a new member to your site, and you guys /girls are full of ideas. I just hope u dont mind me picking ur brains. Thanks for any help yall can give me.. Erik S:)

ever think about a timing gear set? Negate the chain all together?

Anyone know of problematic issues involved in these?

has anyone swapped their stock timing set for a double roller timing set. If so did you have any problems?

i went to a double roller set, and had great results, no machining nessecary either. most sets will tell you whether you need to modify anything or not. talk to the person you are buying from. i use summit racing alot. they are very knowledgeable about these things. their number is 1 800 230 3030 or go to www.summitracing.com and look up timing sets. the ads will tell you everything you need. ;) good luck
