SES Light

My SES light turned on in my Jeep. I have no warranty anymore and was wondering if anybody had a scantool/code reader for OBDII that i could borrow?

My Jeep feels/drives no different than before the light turned on, i am however suffering poorer gas mileage.

Thanks Guys!

Took that ho ass car to the dealership.

Some plastic pipe that was chock full of sensors cracked, i couldnt hear the guy over my cell phone but he was like 100 bucks and itll be fixed, i said fuck it, and told him to fix it.

I totally got ripped off but oh well.

Chrysler dealership on gratiot and frazho is where i took it, any horror stories?

looks like ill have to wait another 2 weeks before i can find a block for the 84'

Ok more info.

It was a hose running to the LDP canister was cracked and stuff, it was a 9 dollar part, 9 dollars in other stuff, and 86 in labor.

Now reading what they did i realize it would ahve taken me quite some time to figure out what was wrong with my car. They even threw in the old hose!

Next time take it to Auto zone for the free scan, or if it costs a couple bucks its worth it, Bring the code back and I can check our database for the problem. Narrow it down and hopefully give you a solution.
