Numbers....

why yes I do have numbers.. she did ok but the sad to say the fuel pump didn't keep up so the dyno run got cut a little short... only ran to 5000 rpm... :( but with the 30#injectors, stock fuel pump, and only 6psi of boost, and no NOS used 405.8 rwhp and 407.5 ft/lb. She will get another dyno run this spring with a new 255lph fuel pump, 42# injectors and 12psi of boost, along with subframe conectors, adj. panhard bar, adj. trailing arms, and new Torque Arm, also a another note I only run 92 oct. fuel ...

Stock LT1 blocks have 4 bolt mains? How much HP can those blocks take? I know nothing about F-bodies, so just curious. Nice #s so far BTW, let us know how it goes with the new boost/FP/injectors.

Stock Blocks

Stock blocks don't have 4 bolt mains on the LT1's The LT4 however are 4 bolt mains, I had caps installed when the block was in the machine shop. I can tell you this much the blocks can take a lot if you follow this link to this guys website

http://para.noid.org/~lj/

his goal is 1000 HP .. and his car is already running 9.8's ...

As Far as I know..

From what I have found, LT1's with the cast number of 327 are all two bolts didn't matter what they came in. the LT4's were also in some of the vetts as well as some of the specail order Camaros and I think the firebirds. I'll do some more checking to make sure of that for you. :smt077
