LS6 package

Anyone thinking about putting the LS6 package in their LS1? Cam and Head change. I was pondering on that in the future :smt017

which company package were you thinking about going with? cuz there are a lot of choices out there that would perform better for similar prices.

GM's LS6 package. I haven't really been looking at other h/c packages out there. I just thought it would be nice to have GM's real LS6 engine package. I'm sure there our better packages out there, could you list some? I've mainly been studying superchargers, exhaust, and intake the last couple of years. Not really up to date on h/c.

You could upgrade just the Cam and make more power than a LS6
esp with the exhaust setup you want. :smt045

eric you have the Ls6 heads, and the Intake, and u just might have the block....u would haveta get under the car and look for the stamping number in order to tell. so if you were going to go witht he LS6 package you would be buying heads u already have, intake you already have!
now if you really wanted to be cool, which i know you try so ard to do. get a Cam/Converter combo. pick a mild cam matched up with the right converter and u will be amazed my son. of course upgrade the pushrods and retainers, springs but that isnt shit. Brad could have that done in no time. if your goin the H/C/I route go with APE's 408. dont waste money on lil bullsht here and there. go big or stay home

If you want better street ability than go with a turbo for forced or futural they have nice heads and cam packagesinduction if you still decide you want heads and cam go with either tsp or futural. I guess patriot redesigned their heads but who knows. The guys that supply APE's heads ET performance do some really nice work. But if you want to go cam only try the tsp magic stick v.3 and go with a big stall. I have a big stall and dollar for dollar its awsome.

Yeah I'll have to agree on not doing the LS6 setup...Go with a stall first of all, then a nice heads/cam package with some LT's and you'll be all set :smt048
