what do you mean by air injection system? cold air system?? I know on the gen-III chevy trucks/'burbs if you get an aftermarket air intake that isn't a true cold air intake but allows hot air to be sucked in it actually has a negative effect.
not sure what you're getting at with your question...a bigger filter or one that's shaped for internal airflow improvements is going to be better IF it has the same as or better 'cold' air source. sucking in engine compartment air is bad no matter what kind of air intake/filter.
