Does anyone know how to get a decent amount of horsepower out of a 3.4 v6 in a 94 camaro.

3.4s are great for power, all you have to do is un hook the motor mounts then throw the engie in the trash and stuff in a small block

buy a car with a V8 already in it...

saves time, money, and hassle and then you can save the money left over from what you "would have" spent doing 3.4mods or v8 conversion. Or just spend it on mods...

amount of $$ to get a 3.4 in the 13's is more than the cost of buying an LS1 car. (unless you just do nitrous and kill your motor...because it cant handle the power)

{a} or you could do all theses mods and generate some more power but not enough to do decent

TB bypass
pullies
no cat
EGR/AIR gone
new exhaust
CAI
find some V6 headers
tune
H/C
turbo
S/C
gears
just not enough options to generate some REAL power out of it when for the same $$ you could generate lots better power out of a V8

Not always true, someone on the V6 boards as a 394 RWHP 3.4, but it was no walk in the park to do the job. Dropping in a V8 in a V6 is more challenging then it looks, you need to replace near everything in the car. Will cost as much as gettin a new car with an LS1 in it already.
