supercharger???????

I have an old chevy pick up, and it has a 383 stroker in it, and i would like to put a supercharger on it, but not a big one, i would like to keep everything under the hood, i was thinking of something like a Weiand 142, or something like that, does anyone have or know where i can get one for not a lot of money, used is ok, i can have it checked out. please let me know.

You can check out www.superchargersonline.com or www.superchargerhelp.com they both cover many types. What engine and what year is it?

Im not too keen on the 2-lobe rotor design and a 142 cu in /rev displacment is a larger supercharger..

I would love to see Holleys performance map of that unit, im sure its very inefficient (volumetric and isentropic).

For what your looking for, i think a centrifugal supercharger would be the best bet.

To go centrifigal you may need to contact the manufactuer to have a setup made. I've only seen roots type on older cars.
