v6-v8 swap
i've got a friend that has a 94 4th gen and he is doing a Golen LT4 383 swap in it. They're right it isn't cheap to do and if it's an insurance deal than what is he looking at this type of car genre for cuz it's all not cheap 6 or 8. If he truly wants a v6 and do a v8 swap then do something like my friend is doing drive it save up some $ then put in a big injected motor. Then there's another problem like they said tranny driveshaft rearend really its not a good idea all the way around to do that sort of swap. Instead of doing the v6 to v8 swap maybe he should look at an early 4th gen like a 93-97 rather than an LS1 car. they accept performance parts real well and their potential is right up there when it comes to making power with the right parts and combos. If it were me I'd go with an early 4th gen with an LT in and put parts on it, but that's just me and my $.02. LT1=performance parts=good street car, and weekend performer, v6 converted v8=LOTS of $ spent and he still may not be happy with it. LT1 :smt023 LS1 :smt023 v6=not suggested :smt018
