edelbrock shortie headers?

I have a 96 Firebird Formula and someone will sell me a set of edelbrock shortie headers for $100 with about 7k miles on them. Are these headers any good. Im just lookin for mild performance.

Shorty's are just fine and will leave you more clearence if you ever decide to lower the car for performace reasons. I have them on my car and while you will gain a little more with long tubes, you will also pay at least $600 for a decent set.

I just wanna get the manifolds off it. I dont need anything like long tubes at the moment cause I just dont have the money for the mods that would make the long tubes really useful.

I concur, even though they may be expensive they are definitely what you want for flow.

They are going to be forced to fit on my car.
