question about exhaust what kind of flowmasters

i have already found some headers for my car i just need to know what kind of exhaust it has to be flowmasters and my car is a v6 firebird so give me some good ideas plz

im gonna give my opinon take it for what it is


dont do it


exhuats on 6 cyl f cars sounds like open ass
it sounds ok at idle but anythign over that is as bad as civics with fart pipes

very true, i had a 3800 GP and tried dynomax they didnt sound bad but out of all i think the borla was my fav.

I'd stay away from flowmaster. But that's just my opinion. Check the internet for sounds. I know that LS1sounds.com have a ton of different set ups for you to listen to but I think it's just what it says...ls1's. Do a search and see if you can come up with something for the 6.

Guess you have never heard a GN with a nice exhaust...

Go with a 50 series or what ever they recomend. I have heard them on a couple 3800's and I was impressed with the sound. Oh and I think people know what I think of buzz cans AND RICE. :smt067

ttas arent considered 6 cyl fbodies either

My bad, I didn't see the reference to f-bods. I still think they sound pretty good with a flowmaster though lol.
