Nitrous

I'm buyin a dry nos kit for the vette soon. I think i'm going to run a 75-85 shot. I buying this from some guy in my area, never used. But he had one on his vette. I don't think i'm going to install it untill I get some LT headers but I will let you know.

Just curious, why did you decide to go dry?

On a different note, n2o+LS1= :smt023

a good price is the why I'm going dry. I got a good price and wanna dip my feet in the juice. If I dont like it I will just take it off. I read with this kit I dont even gotta cut anything.

Maybe with A LOT of it, and I mean A LOT!! I know a guy that sprayed dual 150's on his Z06 (150 off the line, then a total of 300 once he hit second) and his car was pretty much stock. . .well, except for the n2o. He ran it that way for a little while with no trouble. I know numerous other people (me included) that have run 75-150 shots all day long on LS1's. Unless you do something stupid, LS1's handle jug like who done it. Just beware the nitrous backfire. . .now that will eat intakes!!!

With a dry, don't go over about a 75 shot. If you do, then you are playing with disaster (that would be included in the doing something stupid mentioned above). Also get a window switch and a bottle heater. I tried the cheap route (2 solenoids, some lines, and a button. . .not even an arming switch, aka, always armed). In my experience, it is worth the extra cash for a heater and a window switch. Both will make it safer, more reliable power.

About the dipping your feet in. . .taking the kit off if you don't like it thing. Go ahead and be prepared to dive in head first. Just about everyone that sprays once, continues to. It is an awesome way to get that extra jump in hp, it is the only big power adder that can be undetectable to even the trained eye, and oh is it great to see the faces on opponents when you stripe dat ass.

Just remember, "Nitrous is like a hot girl with STD's, you know you want to hit it, but you are afraid of the consequences!!"

I would belly up and get a wet kit with a window switch IMO, but that's just me. I don't feel comftorable making my hard working injectors have to work harder by adding the needed fuel on top of the normal or abnormal if it may be use of the injectors.
