Modded my intake.

Just rigged up my intake on the vette, cut out the part of the air box cover... some people just take off the cover and zip tie the filer to the rest.. I was afraid to do that so I get another airbox cover from some vette folks and got a saw.. hold the filer in good and now my car feel's so much faster.. I've read that this is good for 10 rwhp on the dyno. I dont know about that but it really picked up STOP performance. I cant wait to make a run at the strip.... LOW 13's here we go!

Any good Vette forums out there for tech info. I need input!!! Getting the Z06 within a month. Don't know too much about Vettes and I need to get some info badly!!! Don't know what exhaust to get haven't heard any sounding videos. Also, don't know what intake to get and headers. I've heard the exhaust on the Z06 is titanium, thus I might just want to change the mufflers, get the x-pipe, and headers. Any good tech forums out there?

I've posted on LS1tech, but not a lot of people responded and that is more of a Firebird/Camaro site. Gonna be getting the LS6 so that doesn't fit in that category.

Also, what is CAGS, heard people talking about it and it suppose to be the first mod to do with the vettes

ahhh yes, CAG's, I think that is when someone at GM found one dumbass sucker gov type and convinced him people would use it instead of actually driving their sports/muscle cars lol or simply unplugging or overiding it all together to get rid of the annoyine light.

CAG's forces you from 1rst gear to 4th to act as a fuel saver to avoid gas guzler taxes. Does it work? How should I know lol, I don't drive THAT conservatively... :smt077
