I hope no one is taking this thread too seriously. Its good to know but there are always instances of manufacturing defects. That one asshole in the plant whose having a bad day decides to slop something together really quick without too much concern about the guy on the other end.
The guy should post a follow up on his dealings with the company in getting them replaced, and how cooperative and repentive they feel about a customer getting a bad product.
Because i dont believe that a company would produce something like this on a regular basis, but then again i own a liberty and will keep my mouth shut.
