Drip Rail Moldings

Does anyone out there know the secret to putting roof drip rail moldings on a 69 Camaro (67 to 69 are the same) -- I need new ones and the body and resto places I have called say it's really difficult to do without minor denting.... I got them off with an old style church key and a towel, but getting new ones on looks next to impossible. Any help would be appreciated.
