Does anyone have any recommendations on where I should get sheet metal for some patch panels i have to fab up on my camaro? Im thinking pretty much anywhere as long as the guage and material are the same, i was just wondering on prices and what not vs quantity vs local hardware centers.
at a steel place your going to pay about $1-1.5 per pound plus cutting...at a hardware store you are going to pay out the ass...as for the guage i dont remember what guage they mostly use...12ga? 16ga?

Yeah thats what i was thinking too, no hardware stores, i only need a couple sheets of it, im pretty lucky with not having a ton of patch work to do on the car.
it sould be 20gauge-22 gauge on 80 and newer outer body panels metal mart at 13mile@dequinder (not spelled right) best prices around i got 4' by 4' 20gauge less then $40
