What gauges should I get.

Mechanical or electrical. I know the problem with mechanical is if the line goes I have oil all over the inside of my car. What do I need with the electrical ones?

what type of gauge are you asking about?? Oil, water, etc...

for any electrical gauge you are going to need a sender and then the wire that connects the sender to the guage. so in the case of your example of the oil line, you would have the sender on the engine (where your line used to hook up) and from there run a single wire into the cab of the car and hook it up to the gauge. the specific intructions will come with the gauge.

I'm going to be running both.. electrical in the car and the small triple gauge pack i bought had a mechanical oil pressure gauge. this kit will get mounted under the hood. the lines will be short and no risk of getting oils in the interior. I would have preferred an electrical oil gauge, but what can you do for $15.00 (for the 3 gauges and the mount).

Well the gauges cluster I'm getting is oil, volts, and water. I'm going to get the copper line for the oil. Should be ok.
