non posi GT mustangs?

Hey everyone, Im pretty new to Fords and I want to know a few things about them, mostly the rear end. Do they really make non posi GT Mustangs? I saw a video of one burning out and only one wheel spun :( I cant drive a muscle car unless its posi (hell I even put a Eaton in my V6 Firebird!). Im figuring that the non posi Mustangs are the ones that come with the 5 spoke aluminum rims, while the ones that come with "Magnum" wheels are the posi GT's. Right?? Also whats the stock rear end gear ratio of the Magnum wheel styled GT? Thanks :D

p.s. would be great if someone can tell me the package names of Mustangs so I know the difference, instead of calling them Magnum Mustangs :/ lol.

What years are you talking about?

My friend has a 1990 and a 1996 and both of them are limited slip differentials.

The 90' is a GT 5.0L V8.

the 96' is a 3.8L V6.

They make a whole assload of pacakages for mustangs

-V6
-GT
-Cobra
-Mach1
-Not to mention 30 others from the early generations.

Let me know what year you are thinking about getting and ill pull up some numbers/other shit. Or pm Frost13518 he pretty much knows everything there is about mustangs, any year.

Im pretty interested in a 03-04 GT, I know those packages. But you know how some GT's have those 5 spoke aluminum wheels, and some others have the nicer looking "muscle car" wheels? I just want to know if theres a different name or package between those two stangs
