i have southside machine lift bars , uppers and lowers with a antiroll bar , i have had 1.60 60ft times on drag radials ...

these seem to work for me ... any type of after market control arm will be a big improvement over the stock junk , i had bad wheel hop on my 84 until i switched over to the SSM stuff...

The suspinsion may not be up to your power level, just a touque arm has a limit till you have to go nuts. And it is a convertable too.
