Opinions?

Any ideas on what to put on a 2004 V6 Mustang 3.9L? I want a deep, throaty sound, I want people to hear it on the interstate also, but I don't want it to be so loud you can't think or that it gives you a headache. I also want to get rid of this "whine" it makes or just get something loud enough to "out-sound" it... if that makes any sense. I was thinking of Magnaflow Catbacks, or Dynomax... but I don't know if they would be loud enough. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Hmmm, borla, flowmaster with offroad H pipe doesnt sound bad at all, my friend has one and i like it!

find the 3.8 mustang forums. Some of those guys (I was there when I had the six stang) have v6 stangs that sound like small v8s

dont go with magnaflow or dynomax i think they sound like cheap flows. i have duel flows and an offroad h pipe on the 5.0 and i think it sounds just perfect..... for now but then again i will get used to it and find something louder

Any websites I can go to? Or anyone have any sound clips?... I just don't want something that'll stop my stuff from going outta the car and decrease my HP... But I gotta get rid of that whine... plus the car is so quiet... thanks for any help! :smt023

Definatly Borla, I have a high flow cat, 3 inch "s" pipe and a 3 inch borla catback on my 3.8 Firebird, and it sounds mean as hell.

Its too bad your kinda far from woodward to come and here a couple of the V6 mustangs. My best recomendation is to go to a couple local car meets, pick out V6s and talk to the guys there, see if you can hear what they got and see if you like it.

There aren't too many car meets here, just ricers crowding up Wal-mart and other stores... I'm going to the Rod Run on Saturday... maybe... it's supposed to rain :( But if I do go, I'll check around for any good sounding cars :smt023
