Header install questions and a few more things

Sup guys, sorry for my dumb questions lately but I need some advice. Im just about to get some money from the Army so Im really close to buying me a GT, so of course Im already lookin into the mods. Im really interested in the SLP performance pac, which comes with headers. You guys know if its harder or easier to install headers on a Ford or on a GM LS1 car? Is it worth getting headers? Im not looking for a car thatll run 11's, mostly just a nice street car but that would still be able to teach a few cars some manners. Is there anything I should install while Im doing the exhaust/intake work? I was gonna go ahead and add a short throw, BBK throttle body with plenum, an aluminum flywheel, and a Ford racing clutch. Sorry for a lengthy post, all help is appreciated :)

headers on 4.6s = id rather pay someone then do another set

my headers went rite in easy as pie they fit like shit but the install was easy, i put a set on like a 2001-2002 4.6 and it was a nightmare, they were long tubes and i think i charged the guy like 100 bucks
i should have quoted him like 1000 took like 8-9 hours

What makes it such a lengthy job? Also do you know if the Diablosport programmer would clear any 02 codes that Id get?

they just wouldnt go in ended up lifting the motor like 8 inchs had to unhooke everything and i dont work on to many fors so it was all new to me.
and i cant answer the diablo thing

Don't get a car based on 1/4 mile or people. get a car that you dream about and love (slow or not) , you can always make it faster later. What is your favorte musclecar, and can you find it , and try to get it ?
