1997 mustang v6

this is for the hard core mustang ppl i am putting a stock thunderbird supercoupe engin in my mustang i need to knwo how to get more horse power out of it wiht out halfing to make a bunch of coustom parts can ant help me

Too bad the mosh man wasn't on the site, he'd be able to help ya. A big thunderbird fan, knows a lot about them and mustangs. Mosh is too cool to come on the site though :smt025

port the m90 and the lower intake put on a smaller pulley for the SC and your looking ant quite a few ponies just form that.

just wondering where exactly did you get this motor and how good a shape is it in?

second, there are lots of problems ass'd with this motor. you start puttin miles on 'em and you gotta take 'em apart to replace the gaskets and piston rings. changing the pulley size will give ya more boost, but will cause more pressure in the motor increasing the wear on the innards.
