Blow by

Hey my engine Is a little worn out at around 162000 but im saving for a new engine but im constantly having to clean my intake tube of oil gettin in there because of the tube from my valve cover to my intake tube, I was wondering if anyone would know if i could remove that and run it to a tank then plug the hole on my intake tube so the oil that gets by wont cover my maf sensor and shit.

By the way, It makes my car stall at every light if i dont clean it.

if someone could tell me how to post pics id be happy to give a visual. Thanks and any kinda help would be greatly appriciated.

yeah a PCV valve or douche filter will do the trick, but then again I'm not good with ford engines.

Just a thought...the screen that sits under the pcv valve..did you change this? if you did not, it very well could be plugged..the PCV valve maybe sucking away but it is not vented to the crankcase if that screen is plugged > blow-by. I have seen in my 18 years experince as an auto tech by trade many 5.0`s that blow seals and gaskets push oil up the intake , that just needed that screen replaced...like 7 bucks at the dealer, but a pain to get to somewhat.

Oh yea if you have changed it Nevermind :smt039

Pull the screen out of the rear of the intake and clean real good them re-install Ive had customers modify our lightning oil seperator to catch this oil. visit the lightning section and see if it would work for you.
