What's up with your Lightning? I assume you've got one based on your post.

The Lightning guy's are planning on hanging out down by "Mustang Alley" as far as I know. I dont know if I wanna park or cruise yet, but I'll be hanging with SEMB for sure.

yea, I posted this on the miloc board, but mustang alley, is just for the mustangs. It doesn't look to promising for a lightning owner group thing, thats why I posted over here. Is this the first post about this years Dream Cruise? and is there a specific meet location? If all else fails, Ill be @ red coat getting hammerd :smt023

I know the boards here aren't geared in the direction of any specific make or model, and diversity is good sometimes. I have been on the boards for a while, been to a meet n greet, but just kept quiet since I moved. ( trying not to admit I forgot )

mm, as far as my L goes, its an 00, silver with a few mods. Its a nice dependable truck, it moved me to Florida with 8,500 lbs in tow flawlessly

5k, my move was crazy.. I left Detroit December 8th, it was the first big snow storm. I hit flurries about 10 min south of greektown, and did 25 mph all the way to knoxville... by the time I got to Central Florida.. it looked like my truck was on airbags.. I wish I would have taken pix, but the 40 hour non stop road trip had me pretty loopey

My L made the move from Nebraska to here with a U-Haul trailer (noted because they have heavy ass car trailers) loaded with my T-bird which was full of stuff and not light on it's own anyway and a drier in the bed :smt023 No prob at all. Only saw the boost gauge read any boost going up a couple hills in Iowa.

the lightning sure has been a work horse for me. I didnt see boost until I hit the mountains in North and South Carolina... freakin state's are nothing but mountains and hills I did have to change the trans fluid and rear shocks after the move was said and done

alright, I did make a few calls today, I left 3 voice mails, and spoke with someone at Red Coat Tavern ( waiting for the owner to call me back )

A friend of mine works at the VW service center in royal oak, and hes going to make some calls for me as well, I guess his boss owns a small dealership on woodward, so that may help out..

Ive got another friend who writes for real detroit weekley, and im going to see what kind of influence that wil make on finding a designated location.. mentioning a buisness name in the paper should sway someone.... or at least im going to hope it does..

I did some searching on google and came across this

http://woodwarddreamcruise.com/phpBB...opic.php?p=91&

there last years posts, but I figure if they had it last year, why not this year, so I sent out a few emails..

so, with the ball slowley starting to roll, I have been looking for parking for 35 / 40. I figure, that should fill up between miloc and semb.

what did you guys do for last year's DC?
