Pretty much snowball effect here...you'll have that with oldies..
I made the mistake of letting my Dad drive it (1968 Mustang coupe) and he said he "hit a pothole". Must have been one hell of a pothole. It made my left front tire kick out to the left & when I took it in to get aligned, they said they couldn't...castor was maxed out on the left & they weren't supposed to adjust outside of specs (I hope they wouldn't anyway...) & that I should take it to a frame shop. Took it to a frame shop, they find out its my spindle....the top is bent down 1/2" & interfering with the ball joint. Problem....you can't buy a spindle new for a 68 Mustang. I find one @ a junkyard (thank God). They offer to put it on for me (saves me time right?). Nope....they take the old one off & find that my shock tower is rusted out @ the framerail so now that has to be patched....then I need to put on the spindle, fix the suspension & get it aligned. Sooooo, guess who's stuck in the garage this weekend?

Hell yes I did. Only problem -- They grip so damned well, I can't break them loose! Tho, I guess that equates to even quicker times now :smt048

:smt090 Sorry to hear that. Think of how it'll drive when it's all fixed up though! And I know what you mean about the "snowball effect" with classics....believe me I know. :h Bring it out Woodward when it's all set! I'd love to see the car.[/code]
