One bad 1969 MUSCLE CAR !!!!!!

Hi everyone,
This looks like a cool site so I thought I would show you the only American muscle car that was sold by 1/4 mile times. This car was a factory built race car that had only one thing on its mind, make life suck for any of the Big Three muscle cars of the time. This car sold for under $3,000.00 and would out run cars that cost a lot more back then. I am talking about the 1969 Hurst SC/Rambler. Please check out the 1512 Hurst SC/Rambler registry for all the info on these factory street & strip race cars of 1969,
Auto Parts on eBay Motors, Muscle Cars, and AMC @ Joie's Jeeps!
That is my car on display at the Quaker Steak & Lube restaurant you will see on the main page. Also check out the video page . My SC has the CROSS-RAM INTAKE on it and the car was running the 1/4 in 12.61 back in the early 70's.

This is my unrestored 1969 Hurst SC/Rambler, B-paint scheme with AMC part# Cross-Ram intake. It was a life long dream for me to own one of these cars. It only took me 22 years to find a good one I could get.
You can also see my SC at,
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2397612/1
Hope you take the time to learn about one of the rarest regular production muscle of all time .
Thanks,
Matt Wilson
PS: There is a Hurst SC/Rambler like mine listed to be sold at the Barrett Jackson auction this winter. It is listed as lot #60. It is a real nice car !!!!

All Hurst SC/Rambler's had the American Motors 390 smallblock. They are very strong engines and made 425lbs of torque and 315 Horsepower. This was a lot of power when it was in the Rambler Rogue body. The Hurst SC/Rambler only weighed 3,100 lbs and that was real light in its day. These cars would run the 1/4 in very low 14's bone stock but with just a few simple bolt ons they would run it in low to mid 12's. American Motors sold performance parts and these are called Group 19 parts. The Cross-Ram Intake was one of these parts and they only made a few hundred of them with the AMC part number in them. Cross-Ram intakes were mostly used on the Mopar 426 Hemi cars. You could get over 400 Horsepower out of stock AMC 390 engine with just a few simple bolts on. The company even told you this when you looked to buy a Hurst SC/Rambler. Please read the history of these rare cars at, Auto Parts on eBay Motors, Muscle Cars, and AMC @ Joie's Jeeps!. They ony made 1,512 Hurst SC/Rambler's and it looks like only a few hundred are still around but most of those are in bad shape, they are rare .
Thanks,
Matt
