Marauder - Convertible

Saw these pictures while I was searching for marauder pictures on google, did they ever come out with a vert?

hmmm...ill pass on that one. the middle pic has 4 doors, and the rest have two. i dont think that body style should have a convertable. its kind of ugly.

I'd say those are all photoshopped. They never came from the factory like that, possibly a one-off custom like the Ford Gt.

The two door pictures are not photoshopped. There was one convertible prototype made. It toured the autoshows. It had a two-valve supercharged engine.

Mercury never made it because they killed the car. This particular car was sold to a dealer. It is displayed in their showroom. It can never be driven on the street because it was titled as a concept car. It has no real bumpers or any other safety features.

BTW, this car will do about 30mph.

Really dissapointed they discontinued this car!!! Maybe they'll come out with something like it down the road.
