I don't care what any of the cars look like, when (if) Pontiac becomes all RWD I'm officially a Pontiac fan.

I agree with you there, but just be glad they are starting to throw some power behind their vehicles. Eventually they'll get the looks down

No offense here, but GM hasn't had looks since the last gen TA/Firebird. other than those everything else has been bland. I mean, they could have slapped a little more style on the Cobalt and Aveo and I don't really like how they scrapped the flip-ups on the vette and the rear is lacking a little more this gen.

I like how Ford "retro" styles the Mustang and everyother car company jumps on the band wagon. NOTE: the Charger looks like shit and has an extra set of doors, but the Challenger, if it ever hits, looks BAD ASS!

Now, don't get me wrong. If I could get my hands on a WS6 TA or a Stingray Vette, i'd be all over it like white on rice! Other than that, I'm only liking GM for their ability to keep me (well, my side business at least) paid! I make more money working on peoples GM's than the other cars combined!

Ford wasn't the first to start going retro. Remember there's the PT cruiser, SSR, 300C, thunderbird, mini cooper, and other cars that went retro before the mustang.

Those truely aren't defined as muscle cars though

What really pisses me off is it really doesn't take a genious to figure out what car enthusiasts want. The Japanese guy or Chinese, for got what he was, used his brain and visited web sites and asked enthusiasts what they really want from a car. People that are into sports cars love the old school body lines... Thus, came up with a winner. Especially with the mustang, it's the most sold muscle car sold to this day.

People in management can be really ignorant(GM), hey just look at our President!!!

It'll take GM a while to get back in the loop. Hopefully they'll get the lines right on the next GTO

Well, I don't think of a PT Cruiser as "retro" in anyway, not even the ones with the faux wood paneling.

The SSR is just a sporty, Mickey Mouse lookin truck. Bad ass, but I really don't see the retro there either.

300C really don't look like it's predecessors. Theres a guy I know with an old ass dodge 300 and compare one to the other, there are next to no similarities, other than a long ass hood. Plus, and I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way, I don't think those multi-displacement motors are going to last long. I mean, you're moving at a decent rate of speed with half the motor off and thanall of a sudden, BANG, the other half of the motor kicks back in? I think there's gonna be a few set backs before they really get that thing moving problem free.

Thunderbird, Ford car. If I do remember, that would be the first of the "retro" cars for the 2000's.

Mini Cooper. I will give that one the best retro award, but it's a little hunk of crap. They are so small and uncomfortable, you can't put people in the back and you have this awful amount road noise coming in on you.

What's going on with pontiac? As far as I knew, they were done. GM 86'd the the f-bodies, no more camaro (chevy), TA or firebird (pontiac) and as far as I knew, besides a minivan, pontiac had nothing. Maybe I missed the news or something, I've been busy working. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot about the Solstice. Another pretty cool car. Aren't they talkling about throwing a LS1 or something in that thing like next year or something? That would be absolutely disgusting! I would def buy one of those and I'm not really a chevy guy! LOL!!
