the problem is, we are guilty by association. ryelou and i had a nice little group going down a the little caesars lot, and i was even policing it to make sure everyone parked nose in and within the lines... made sure all garbage was picked up, etc...

but the problem is, we were near the hawthornes lot, so we got lumped in with them, and subsequently kicked out as well. i know there are a couple lots by AE, and you can be damm sure the rice contingent will be parking in them.

also, from other sources, even if you have permission from the business owner, it's still loitering if you're in the lot after business hours....

I was drivin' back from the airport the other nite late (after midnight) and there were a couple of the F&F crowd at AE then.

I suspect encroachment will be attempted - and I also suspect law enforcement may opt to unilaterally enforce the rule.

The 'way around' this is to flag down the cops working the beat, get to know them, and they may, in turn, provide some clemency with regard to parking there.

You get what you give - you guys have been pretty mellow for the most part, so they've been lenient in return (with the exception of a cop who didn't know y'all).

Take the time to make nice with the B'ham police - they respect that sort of thing - honest.
