You could bring over to our dealer....I get everything at cost, and the labor rates at the lowest possible price we can :smt048 Its a GMC/Pont/Buick/Olds dealership, but we work on everything really because of out used car lot and what not.

132k miles (ouchies)

You guys could do the radiator / coolant system flush for cheap? You don't also happen to work on speaker systems do you? My speakers arent wired and I really don't feel like dealing with that.

Dude, save yourself the money on the radiator flush and do it yourself. A coolant tester is just a few bucks. The only thing you need to do it is a garden hose really. Turn the drain plug ont he radiator, let it drain out. Take off the radiator cap, stick the garden hose in the rad inlet and let it run for a while to flush it out. Take one of the heater hoses off an put the garden hose up to that and fluch it out there, voila, you're good to go. Reconnet the heater hose, retighten the drain on the radiator. Start pouring in coolant. You'll still have water in the engine so start out dumping in straight antifreeze. Put in a gallon or two then run it a little to let it get mixed up check it with the tester, that'll tell you if you need more water, more coolant, or if you need to fill it evenly with both to top it off. Your done. If you get ti full and the mix isn't right jsut drain some and pour in more of what it needs. You'll be done for under $30 in a tester and antifreeze.

Yeah but I would really rather have the pros do it with some REALLY high pressure to clean everything out good.

Sometimes you have to be careful with pressure and older engines If you get it flushed some metal might break loose and clog it. I had that happen with the tranny on my old Town Car. Had the tranny flushed and then it wouldn't shift of out 1st gear, something got knocked loose and clogged a sensor somewhere, it sucked. I could have avoided this by dropping the pan and just draining it then filling it.

We dont use a pressure system, it splices in at one of the radiator hoses and while the engine is running it pumps out the old and in with the new (the pump is the WP). Works pretty well becuase it gets all the old stuff out of the heater core and the block/heads completely.

I dont think we can do the speaker stuff there becuase it isnt something i can do mainly becuase im not a full tech yet until i finish school. On top of that, it would be alot cheaper to take it to a Mickey shorr or doing it yourself.

Ill find out a price on it tomarrow for you....and I'll be out on AE sat night most likely if it dosnt rain :smt023
