Dad's Charger in Car Craft, again

I just got the newest Car Craft today. There is a restoration guide in it. I get to the first page of that (41 of the magazine) and what do I see. A picture of the engine in the Charger and a picture of the interior! It is actually the 4th time there have been pictures of the car in the magazine. The first time was a picture on the what's coming next month page. Then the feature on it the next month (late in 04, issue with the LS-1 on the cover). Then the 05 calendar and now the engine and interior pics this month.

Yeah. He got an Award at the Car Craft Summer Nats last year where there were around 4500 cars. He's won the Mopar Muscle award at every unique Goodguys show he's gone to, I think 4 different places, Des Moines, Milwaukee, Denver, and Kansas City, typically 1500-2500 cars at Goodguys events. Won an award at the Hot Rod magazine Super Nats last summer, there were around 1500 cars there too. He even got an award from some random car club during the dream cruise and there was a picture of his car in one of the newspapers. The 4 Car Craft appearances, a Mopar magazine and the Street Thunder Street Machine Club's magazine. The car gets a lot of attention. It's big, bright, stands out big time and is done very nicely.

Its just an emissions era 440 with ported heads and a mild cam. It sounds mean as fuck. But it'd be lucky to make 400 hp at the flywheel I'd guess. Although dad has had clutch problems with it so maybe it's stronger than we think.
