Windsor Cruise

Thought I would make this an official post as some people have expressed an interest in making their way over to Windsor, Ontario. For those who don't know, Windsor is a city which is right across the border from Detriot.

The idea: go for a cruise up and down Oulette (the main drag with loads of spectators all over it, the 'Woodward' of Windsor) on Saturday night to showoff those badass rides (cars/bikes/trucks) that only SEMB has to offer. Depending what everyone wants to do, we could cruise around other parts of Windsor as well (main streets) and finish off at a local parking lot, very close to Oulette (two blocks away) with loads of space, great lighting and some of the other local car junkies. Also, this parking lot has a Taco Bell, Subway, Little Ceasars, and a Burger King incase anyone is hungry. People that bring their cars usually hang out until 1 o'clock and its usually a decent sized crowd (20-30 cars on average). If you want, we can arrange a jump off point where we can all meet before hand, which I will scout out this week if anyone is interested. I will obviously be there so I can help anyone that has any questions in general or about directions.

Let me know what you all think of the plan and a date. As I said, this Saturday would be good as I am out of town next Saturday. Either way, let me know when is good for you all.

Yup, thats it for paperwork. We would like to have you all too...it would be a good time! What kind of date are you all thinking?

Sounds cool. I've been wanting to go down there and find a place to take pictures at night with downtown Detroit in the background anyway.

I was over there a few times for work a month or two ago. It was like 2.50 AMerican one way and 3.50 American the other way to cross through the tunnel.

Yea, its real cheap to get over. And yes, there are some great spots right by the river to take pics at. When I say close, I mean about 5 feet away with a great view of the detriot skyline.
