Good point, but in general #'s matching cars will be more valuable

well a 93 Cobra motor would be EFI, and from what I've read you've got a 78 right? So it was more then likely converted to carb, so yeah, it wouldn't look the same.

no its EFI in a 78. i got that big assed efi thing instead of a carb. the brain box for the EFI is located under the dashboard. im not satisfied with EFI. the enxt car i want will either come with EFI or be a carb. my car=wiring hell.

So let me see if I got it right.

The stock motor in my car would make the overall vehicle worth more than a custom built motor?

I have no clue what kind of car uo have so i can't say.

Look up the price of any late 60's/early 70's muscle car and 9x out of 10, original #'s matching cars will have a higher price tag then non-original cars

Here's a couple I saw quick-like on Ebay

70 Chevelle, #'s match, it's at $30k with the reserve not met

and this

68 Chevelle, nowhere near original, 600+HP, Buy It Now is only $19k
