NADA shows the same value for those as the other one. So value wise on them you've really hit rock bottom already, no worries, put miles on it and the value is uneffected. What more could you ask for than a car that has hit rock bottom on value already, you really can't lose money! That's nice. With only one picture on each car and 1000 miles difference, go look at which ever one is closer first. Honestly, you might still try offering 3000 still, even on a private sale. If they meet you at 3200 or 3300 you are probably doing alright. But before offering anything, try and run a carfax before you go look and make sure it looks ok and drives ok before making any offers.

Also, remember that the real fast LS-1 guys are swapping heads. If you go that far there is really no difference between an LS-1 and an LT-1 . An LT-1 can be real fast with a few mods. Especially an automatic car with a toqrue converter and gears.

As far as problems go, as I said before, modern technology is a great thing. I really wouldn't worry about the engine mileage at all. Tranny's are another thing though. When you are looking at that part and higher mileage, a manual car with high mileage is a better bet than an auto. A manual tranny the problem is most likely the clutch with higher mileage. An auto car with higher mileage, when the tranny goes it's going to be more serious

If you really want to check into high mileage, look up a 94 T-bird's value with 165,000 miles. I sold one of those for $6,000. I know high mileage cars. My current DD has 183k!
