New Super Hemi?
Check it out...
http://www.srtmopar.com/hemiblog/?permalink=438
This thing'll be more powerful than the Viper... or will it? Dodge can't let the new Vette beat their muscle flagship for long. If this thing is gonna be in a Challenger, whatever comes next on the Viper has to surpass even the "Blue Devil"

So it's like a big block and the 5.7/6.1/6.4 are kind of like small blocks? The heads look huge, I want to see a side by side comparison with a current Hemi. Regardless, that is bad ass. Ford is really going to need to step up and up the displacement of mod motors if it wants to be a player in the horsepower war. Or maybe gas prices will kill the war before it matters, let's hope that's not the case. 600 HP for everyone! :smt023
20 years ago you couldn't barely buy a new car with 200 HP. 10 years ago 300 HP was awsome. Now the number of 400, 500 and even 600 HP cars goes up with every batch of new stuff that comes out. It's a beautiful era

Cool cool, but will it finally be efficient and when I say that, is it going to still be normal for a Hemi to use a quart of oil between changes? If they can do that, they deserve a slap on the back. :smt023

why didnt they do that back in the 60's?
they had the hemi heads, and the 440 block, and the technology to make a 440 6 pack hemi.
if they did make it, i'd probably be more of a mopar fan.

The 426 block and the 440 block are nothing alike, that's why they didn't do that. 3 two barrels was always a gimmick as much as anything. Putting a 6 pack on a Hemi wasn't going to accomplish anything.
