Signed, and I know I don't hold stocks in any oil companies. . . I don't own any stocks. lol I hope gas prices go down just as much as you guys, but I realize that we will probably never see gas below $2.00 a gallon again. Kinda bleak for the auto enthusiasts, don't ya think?

Bleak is putting it nice .

You may not need gas , But the Von's truck needs gas , the Safeway truck needs gas, the Wallmart needs gas and you pay in higher prices there for food and cleaning supplies . And if you live in a city, then electricity is really needed by everyone . And I don't think your Amish friends will agree with you on this one , look at where they live!!!

You wanna see it bleak, see it bleak. I choose not to. Things will get better,.....they always do! Again this is a lifestyle choice we make NO ONE forced you to buy a car to put gas in and insurance on. NO ONE forces you to go to Wal-Mart and buy your food. (Farming is still an option ya know) You did that of your own volition. Here is my point (once again) YOU CANNOT TELL A COMPANY YOU CANT DRILL AND EXPLORE FOR MORE OF YOUR LIVELYHOOD TO HELP REDUCE/IMPROVE YOUR MANUFACTURING COST! FURTHERMORE YOU ARE NEVER ALLOWED TO MAKE RECORD PROFITS!!!! IF YOU DO.......I'M GONNA GO HUG A TREE AND CRY FOUL!!!!

I don't live in a major city but I still have cable/internet (my choice) 3 vehicles (again my choice). Don't understand what your saying about the Amish disagreeing? They dont use that stuff, and they live right around the corner from me! So yeah I can look at where they live!! :h

Look we are obviously gonna have to agree to disagree on this one. I feel that a company is allowed to make a profit, whereas I think perhaps you feel that only a profit can be made if it is convenient for you.

I think what people are forgetting is that gas companies do NOT control the prices 100%. The cost of oil is going up, so they have to adjust accordingly. It is the OIL companies and groups that should be focused on.

People want to blame gas companies and power companies because that's where they see the prices going up. But what they're seeing is merely the effect of oil being $73 a barrel (or whatever it's up to now).
