I've got no problem with a flagger, although B-rad's flashlight idea is pretty kick ass. Can't really anticipate (jump) that. And a little shit talking never hurts either. On a show where the two cars aren't matched up very well the shit talking is the only thing that saves it. You guys would appreciate it more if you hung around street racing a little more I think. That seems like something that can have the tendency to get a little too serious around here though. I still had a decent time the on night I was out and a few races went off though.

Yeah, saw that too. Supposively the 383 had something wrong with it. The mustang started overheating at the end and the Camaro was leaking oil bigtime. Do these guys put the engines together with elmers glue and bubble gum :smt048
If they can't put together a decent car that can run up and down the track, they shouldn't be on the show!
|
um you guys need to watch pro racing... just watch how many cars break down before the 1/4 mile is over... these guys are giving the car all it has for up to 5 races in a row! Also the Camaro guy was a Pro 5.0 racer and he ownes his own shop... the other guy also owned his own shop... breaking down is just a part of racing
|
True, but a lot of the guys ruine there motor because of nitrous. I'd be running naturally aspirated if I were them! You'd probably win all the time because you're car would be the last one running :-) I'm not big on nitrous, I see a lot of motors fail because of it.
You can get into 10s without nitrous, that's what the bald head guy wanted them to do.

I'd be hustling like mad if I was on that show. There'd definitely be a nitrous kit hidden on the car for that little bit of insurance. I had a few good ideas about how to hide it on the T-bird and if I screwed with anything else a little bit I bet I could come up with a few undetectable ideas on other cars too.
