#UPDATED# mom and pops monte got destroyed

well, my pops got in his first accident in the 35-40 years he's been driving and BOY did he do it right!

well, here's really how things went down. this guy had hit another vehicle and left the scene. there was a couple who was behind him and they followed him for about a mile or so to the point where he struck my step dad. no clue on how fast he was going but judging by the pics and the amount of damage caused, it was pretty fucking fast.

this is the scene we came up to (i took this pic as i was leaving). there were aprox. 4 fire trucks, 5 ambulances, and bout a dozen cop cars.

this was the guys COMPANY work truck. he was driving pertty friggin drunk

and the monte, or lack thereof. (pics suck, going to try and get daytime ones tomorrow, had to adjust the brightness to see them right)

both air bags deployed. pops smacked his knees off the dashboard and his head off the steering wheel (we guess). as you can see in the last pic the dash got stretched the fuck out. pops said he couldn't find the keys to turn the car off. they had to use the jaws of life to open the other guys truck and get him out. the other couple he hit were fine and pops worst injury is a cracked rib. not sure the detalis on the other guy, not that i give a shit past his insurance paying for the car and pop's medical, but he was rushed to jersey shore medical center, while pops and the other couple were taken to bayshore community hospital (my jobby, YAY!). as far as i know hit and run is a felony and drunk driving will cost this douche out the ass. he's prolly gonna lose his job (he did wreck the comp van) and poss his license. all that really matters is pops is fine, lost 300 in o.t. for the night. actually he wanted to go to work after crashing the car, not that i blame him, anything beats the hosp! LOL!

yeah, they were going to go with a 2000 impala, but pops thought it was a little small and wanted a 2 door. mom liked this one better too. i was joking about when i was going to get the monte cause they gave me the buick when they got the monte and they made the mistake of lettin me drive it once. not bad, but needs a bigger motor and rwd like the real monte's. maybe they'll gimme it now? think they will? :smt017
