Knew it was going to happen. I stay safe and sober on new years and what do i get? SPEEDING TICKET!!!

I was flying down 696 in the royal oak area (duh!) Not paying attention because i was still have asleep. Popped going 80. Cop gave me a 5+ which i guess is good, something about no points. Oh well.

Hope everyone elses new year was awesome!

Not good.. i flew through there around then as well.. i was doing about 80 too..

Five over on an interstate road is "NO" points. He gave you a big break.

I got my ticket for doing 80 on 696 in Southfield. I got lucky becouse my record is clean with no tickets.

Thats what i found out. Definitely a big break, if he gave me the full 15+, man thats a HELL of a ticket for sure.

Thats what i get for getting too cocky behind the wheel, i have seriously been speeding constantly with no apparent reason other than impatience. Not rediculous/recklessly but definitely speeding.

I think he backed it down so much was because my record has been clean for like 4 years in the vehicular violations department.

That sucks you got a ticket. I pass thru that area at all times of the day and 99% of the time theres either a ROyal Oak cop sitting under the overpass before Woodward, or a Royal Oak Motor Carrier Enforcement (the ones i look out for cuz i own/drive a wrecker) sitting after the I75 overpass. Also sometimes state boys sit there too. Not a good spot to be speeding IMO. Good thing he gave you a break :smt038

I slap the ID card on them and tell them its anti american to give a soldier a ticket!!!

I got a ticket the other day down in Indy........80 in a 70 wtf is that all about!!!

You know i realized too that i was driving through royal oak at the exact moment i saw the cop. Im like Son of a bitch im going to get a ticket, i new immediately. I actually had a chance to bail on him and hit the exit but i decided that wouldnt have been in my best interests.
