POSTING GUIDELINES! READ NOW!

Lately the common topic of threads in the lobby section and a few other sections have gone to hell in a handbasket, or are halfway there.

The topic at hand is sex, sexually related topics, bland explicitness, etc.

I admit I have played a role in this myself, as have many other members. In an attempt to bring back the general integrity of the forums and make a better name for ourselves I think there needs to be limits to how far we can go off topic and to what degree of explicitness is allowed.

I understand its winter time and many of us are not driving/working on our muscle car. So of course the conversations will wane from the typical car talk. This is totally ok, but the extent at which content in some of these threads are not only explicit and pornographic in nature but are so far from automotives that they should not even be on the site.

Thread Hijacking has also been extremely prevalent on the site. Topics about automotives will start and then immediately be turned into something else, with the original subject being completely evaporated. This makes it impossible for new members or members with an interest in a certain topic, to be able to find what they are looking for or interested in.

So in short, Ladies and Gentlemen of SEMB Muscle Car Club, lets keep the forums clean for our new members, guests, prospects, and veterans.

I would just like to say, before you post.

1. Think if this is somthing that members will want to read.
2. Next, will sponsors be motivated to sponsor a site with this post content.
3. Does anyone care? Sure your the best in the world at everything.. (..who on the internet isnt?) but will it be benficial to you to post this?
4.Will you gain friends or will people loose respect for you?
