But just take it to court and get a lawer and they will get it droped to something that does not give you anypoints. I they dropped my ticket 5 over to impeading traffic a 140$ fine and I did not take a lawer. They just want your money. The ticket for 5 over was 120 and they said I could pay that and get points or I could pay 140 with no points.

k guys listen....if you CAN help out with the ticket, please send a PM or e-mail to andrea. no need to say this or that. yes there are good and bad, but if u break the law then their are certain reprocussions for such actions. if she was doin 55 and received a ticket then I would understand the dismay but she was speeding as we all do and ended up with a ticket. yes it sucks but their are certain areas people should know not to speed in. time and a place for everything!

andrea, anywhere north of 8 mile you can bet ur ass on receving a ticket. the local cops with in a 100sq mile radius are very strict. this is a high traffic area especially out your way. hall rd not only has MSP, County and local patrolling the area....

whenever you get pulled over request the cop to write down how he got your speed...

If he used a radar gun then the best luck is when he recalibrated it which some dont do very often.

If he was pacing you then it wont be hard to get off due to the physics and line of sight and such. Let me know how he got your speed and ill try to help ya out. If you go to court they will probably drop it down to 1-5 over for saying you are guilty...that along with paying the fine and court dues...

I have had awsome luck with cops but still i dont push it. At most i cruise at 1-5 over...
