I think it depends on what car you put it on cuz it might sound good on a mustang but shitty on a fbod. Fwiw i had a 4.6 with mac longtubes and borla cat back best sounding combo on any car i've ever heard in my life. Never had a bad compliment or an undceided one about it.

I also believe this is totally true.

I chose flowmaster cause that's what I have but if I could do it again I'd probably do magnaflow or TSP.

SLP loudmouth sounds great with just stock headers and cats, but after that :smt078

I'd have to go with flowmaster, not the best flowing I hear, but I think they sound the best hands down! Flowmaster is not a real favorite for muscle cars anymore, lot of people going with other aftermarket like magnaflow, gmmg, or mac. Personally I still love flowmaster, some people say it flows for shit, but I'd rather have a good sounding exhaust sacrificing a little horsepower than having a raspy sounding shitty exhaust!

I had flowmaster on my mustang and I just did not like the sound. I changed over to the Magnaflow sound improved mufflers and I love them.

Depends what series you have! Some of them can sound really bad, some sound good.
