I think the stock rims are a pain in the a$$ and a 1/2 to clean - but personally I like them. ;)
I had originally figured I'd go with some black rims of some sort down the road - but I get so many compliments on the stock ones they've grown on me quite a bit.

Car and Driver ranked the new GTO really bad! "Hight-effort shifter, hopeless pedals, bland styling, costs more than 30k" They rank the new Mustang first. That is cool with me, but it seems to me they just ranked the Mustang first because of its looks. GTO beat the mustang in the powertrain almost in every category. Man they just ragged on the GTO so bad! I'm not saying it is better than the Mustang or anything, but the magazine's writers acted like it was a piece of shit. They called it a "bloated cavalier" and said the 6 speed is as fun to use as that Soloflex collecting dust in your basement." "Throws are long, rubbery, and high effort and drew universal criticism." Then they talk about how their sale were horrible, but what they don't talk about is why they are horrible. They didn't mention how GM accidentally released info about the new GTO having a LS2 engine it during prime sales for the old GTO. Seems to me car and driver and motorweek on TV are in the same boat! All they talk about is foreign cars and how good they are, but when a new muscle car comes out they say a few good opinions and then rag on them. Every time I watch motorweek on TV they almost have foreign cars on there every time! What right does car and driver have on making fun of the GTOs price, they act like 30k is way too much. I know they are kind of comparing it to the mustang that is around 25k, but they never say shit on how high priced some of those foreign cars are. Seems to me that a lot of these writers are always leaning towards foreign cars! :piss I just think the GTO deserves a little more credit. You guys have to read the article for yourself! Think about it, were there so many foreign cars in fast and furious. The media loves them and tries to act like they are so special. The fact is they would get smoked on the street and strip! Cubic inches always wins!!! :smt045 The media also loves to tell everyone how good these foreign cars are good on gas. If you are worried about gas prices you shouldn't even own a sports/muscle car in the first place. I don't hate foreign cars, one of my favorite cars is a supra, but the media just rags on domestic way too much. I'm just plain sick of it!!!

something tells me that car and driver is a bitch who is partial to ford. I thought automotive magazines were supposed to be objective when it comes to ranking our precious vehicles. They dont cut up any ford product, and they certainly dont mention the head problems on the 03-04' cobras. FUCKING MORONS!

Pussies wont even personally push the ferraris or lambos to 200+ They call in "professionals" and these guys are critical to helping out new car buyers who may not be familiar with the automotive industry nor automotive enthusiasts like everybody here.

Car and Driver should go crash a Volkswagen Rabbit into a wall.

C'mon think about it..........I don't think it's right but who doesn't have a biased opinion in media. NO ONE in media is objective in my opinion. From Dan Rather (actually all big 3 mainsteam media) to CNN, and Fox News, including our beloved shows like Car and Driver, and Motorweek. It would be hard for me to write an article and be non-biased on a certain style of car. We all have our own agenda and its difficult to not let that show thru.
But it's kind of funny cause I just watched last weekend and yeah, they did the WRX and talked about how great it was and the styling and all for around 31K. Like it was a bargain.jmho

My wife btw, is like "You're freakin kidding, right? That little thing cost as much as the Camaro? No way!!" .

thats the problem with the world, everybody has their own opinions, but they are sold onto everyone else.

Oh, not to diss the VWs. Diesel Jettas with 5spds are crazy fun.

I just don't think the media gives enough credit to muscle cars. They pritty much started the whole street racing scene from the beginning, but you see what film the media produces Fast and Furious. With all ricers, so tipical, :smt076

My son made me watch "Torque". Ok for those who have not seen it............DON'T, for those who have, my condolences. Anyhow this movie (that blew some major chunks, imho) had more f-bods in it that any muscle car movie I've seen in a long time. And this was a friggen show about bikes!?
