600-hp Corvette SS rumored behind closed doors...

I know some of you're going to say, this isn't new and I know this. What I do know is what I read in my recent mag of Autoweek.

Actually, they bring back the name Blue Devil. More or less they say Chevy isn't confirming it being under development but they don't seem to be downplaying it neither.

Get this though... Sources say the Blue Devil might go with the original announcement -- 7.0 V8, supercharged and producing upwards of 600HP. This is all good but what really gets me going is the weight they report...

"Look for lightweight carbon fiber body parts to reduce weight to about 2900 pounds."

I wonder what upgrades would be made to the exterior if the SS and or Blue Devil did hit production.
