This is the part im talking about... the red piece above the TRANS AM

What i have read on common auto body restoration and several auto body forums is that you take a thin screw driver wrapped in cloth tape (hockey stick tape i guess) and try and get behind it to pop it off, personally i think you would be better off using a dull blade (butter knife), then you have to polish, wax and buff.

sports tape/medical cloth tape is good too.
